Strengthening OT information security to help Taiwan's key facilities build a solid security line of defense

Taipei, April 8, 2024 — South Korea’s leading cybersecurity company AhnLab officially announced that it has authorized T-Tech as its distributor in Taiwan. The two parties will jointly promote industrial endpoint security (OT Security) to assist Taiwan’s high-tech manufacturing plants, energy transportation, chain logistics and other industries to build a stronger cybersecurity defense line. AhnLab has had many successful customers such as the semiconductor industry and other groups around the world. According to the survey, global attacks on OT systems in 2023 increased by nearly 40% compared with the previous year, with the manufacturing industry becoming the primary target. IT security architecture is unable to cope with the OT environments, such as outdated operating systems, closed environments, and real-time requirements, making endpoint protection designed specifically for industrial production lines an urgent need for enterprises.
